Thomas's party started at 3.30pm with 7 friends attending, 2 returning from Toby's party that morning, and some very lovely gifts. We started with the cake and then he attempted to blow out the candles amidst a sea of smoke as they kept relighting!
My sister, the boys Aunty Cath, called in to visit and drop off her gift for the boys and also that of their Nana's and posed for a photo. Her daughter, my niece Chantelle, is also celebrating her birthday today too, she is 28.
At 4.30pm we headed into town to Laser Strike, indoor fun maze whereby they don 'laser shields' and carry a laser gun and attempt to shoot each other in a maze of darkness. I wandered in to have a look and they were having a ball with our group split into 2 groups. Half had green lights on their suit and half had red. The green team won that round. Here is Matt attacking the opposition!
We stopped for half an hour to have party food in one of their party rooms, then went back in for a second game. This time we were all on the same team, the gold team, as there were 9 others that had arrived to play a game so they competed against our team. The gold team won!
This is our group, minus Jack who was getting his gear adjusted, posing before heading in for their second game.
We then brought all the boys home to have dessert, make your own like at Toby's party last night, then their parents picked them up around 7.30pm. By 8pm I had a nice glass of Baileys on the Rocks in my hand and sat with my feet up for an hour!
So all in all a great weekend for both boys.
We now have 3 teenagers in the house, yipeeeee!
