Christmas Day

We had a lovely relaxing day, with a nice brunch of croissants, fresh berries and cream, and pancakes and 'real' Canadian maple syrup. What a treat! At NZ$8 for a small bottle it was savoured, after Christmas we go back to "maple flavoured" syrup!

The kids opening their presents, even Sophie got a parcel from Santa, some cat treats!

Thomas opening his new flat screen for his computer. Sophie is even under the tree

Thomas with his pile of presents beside him.

Toby with his pile of presents, all neatly arranged for the best viewing! So typical of the tidier twin! His tee-shirt from Aunty Line says on the front "If it ain't a rotor" on the back it says "It aint a motor" He is his father's son!

Katie with all her presents neatly tucked away into her Christmas stocking ready to put away in her room! Another tidy kiwi!

Opening a present of Lynx body spray and shower gel. All in all I think he got 3 different body sprays so I guess he will smell good for a long time!

Late afternoon we wandered around the corner to the home of our friends', Jan and Steve, to have a BBQ Tea with them and a few of their friends. It was a lovely day.
