Walking down the drive for the last time

The boys had their leavers assembly today, the final farewell to the end of their 8 years at primary school. They were presented with leavers certificates and then embarked on the tradition of their last walk down the drive of their school.

The whole school from 5 year olds right up to the 12 year olds who will be the seniors at the school next year, lined the driveway with blue and white balloons to wave and say farewell to the senior members of their school.

The year 8's are lead down the drive by a lone bagpiper, their principal, and the members of the school council. (Thomas included in this) The whole school shouts out their goodbyes and best wishes as they make their way for the last time down the school drive to the big wide world of high school.

It is truly an emotional time for both students and parents such as us who have been a part of the school for such a long time (us being 12 years)
