We took her out for a lovely breakfast to a cafe called Terra Viva which is attached to a beautiful garden centre where you can browse and buy lots of lovely plants and everything and anything for the garden! She had scrambled eggs and salmon on a bagel and I had my favourite - Eggs Benedict with Bacon! Yum!
We gave her a year's subscription to a magazine called "NZ Gardener" which will be delivered to her letterbox every month for a year.

Just 2 more years and she will be 80! Wow! I told her Katie and I would take her to Sydney for that big birthday, as she went on a flying visit there on a tour once and didn't get enough time to see what she wanted, so we said we would take her for a more leisurely holiday.

Thanks, yes she is doing well for her age. March 28th would have been my Father's (your Mum's brother) 86th birthday. I do hope we get to meet your Mum one day. I wish good health and longevity to us all!
