Someone pimped my room!

While Thomas was away at Scout Camp we redecorated his room as a surprise for him.

We bought this house 3 years ago and have been meaning to do it for all this time.




The only photo I could find of the old room! I forgot to take a 'before' shot.









He had wallpaper on the walls and his curtains were bright blue. He had a blue and white striped duvet cover and Katie's old single bed. (she got our old queen size bed when we shifted as we bought a new one for ourselves)
















Al painted the walls silver, and I put up black curtains, replaced all the white dresser handles and knobs with black ones, bought him a new "zebra" print duvet cover and ordered him a new bed.
















Unfortunately the new bed doesn't arrive for another 4 weeks, it is a King Single size, and has a black metal frame.

When he arrived home from camp he opened the door to his room and said "Woah, someones pimped my room! It's awesome!" It was a great surprise and we are so pleased he liked the colour scheme as we didn't really ask him what he wanted. He is now looking forward to his new bed arriving, which will be another 4 inches bigger all round.





Al is going to get some black vinyl and recover his computer desk for him.













Tonight I am going to recover his blue pin board with black fabric so that can go back up on the wall too, and then he can hang his 2009 calendar which has pictures of White Tigers on, cos we couldn't find a Zebra one.
