School Music Night - Toby Drums

The boys school had their music night on Thursday. Every child that learns an instrument has the opportunity to perform in front of an audience each year. Thursday night was the Violin, Clarinet, Drums, Brass, Recorder, Flutes and the school Orchestra.

Next term the keyboard and piano players and the guitar players will have their night.

Toby has learnt the drums for 4 years at the end of this year. The 11 boys learning drums at his school did a percussion piece with Toby playing the beat on the drums and the others joining in to create a medley of percussion sound from clapping, cannastas and symbols to buckets and plastic pipes!

His drum teacher Dan is in the white shirt. He teaches drums for a job and travels round various schools teaching pupils in school time as well as tutoring from his home out of hours. He is an amazing guy and Toby has loved his time being tutored by him. Go Dan!
